Peter Hall Memorial Regularity Race – 1st May 16
Peter Hall was an icon in the Marque Sports Car Association of S.A. His passing was a tragic loss for the MSCA members, particularly as a key member of the committee. Hence the memorial race is highly regarded across the car clubs that the MSCA represents and for which they organise the motor sport program.

MSCA Trophy Presentation Day – Sun 15th Feb 15

W.A. President’s Run to Normanville
The run on 7 Jan was a warm affair in more than the social sense. It was a hot and hunid day but the group did not flag. Read Poppy Hawkins’ account of the day.

Hans & Debbie Oldenhove organised a truly great run from Mitcham to Macclesfield then onto Ashbourne via the Kuitpo Forest. Read more.
25th Anniversary Gathering at the National Motor Museum – Mon 6th Oct 14
Des Long, Dennis Hawkins, Poppy Hawkins and Kari Soutter took up the challenge to arrange the largest gathering of MX5’s ever in the state in recognition of the car having a milestone birthday. Here are some of their achievements:

- The article in the Hills Courier Newspaper
- The write-up in Riverland Real Estate (Murray Pioneer Newspaper)
- The write-up in The Advertisers Sports Car Section
- The follow up article in the Hills Courier Newspaper
They used Facebook, invitation cards, Zoom TV and featured on websites of the National Museum and Shannons. They even appeared in the Messengers What’s On section. Mazda Australia assisted with an email mail-out and promotional items whilst some Mazda dealers further assisted by not only displaying the flyer and but offering prizes. Did their marketing work?
