Barossa Valley, South Australia
Mazda MX-5 NATMEET 2018
Please check in first at the reception desk then proceed to the NatMeet registration desk in the lobby opposite reception. One of our members will be there to welcome you. You will receive your registration kit and a welcome pack for each vehicle. The registration desk will be manned from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.
There will be ample time to relax and socialise with new and old friends before the welcome BBQ commences that evening at 6.00pm
In your registration kit you will find a coloured sticker with your car number on it. Please place this sticker on the top left hand side of your windscreen on the day of arrival. This will ensure a smooth start early the next morning for your first run. This sticker should remain on your vehicle for the entire event. There are six groups each with their own colour. Two groups will depart on each of the run days to one of three destinations i.e. the Barossa Valley, the Adelaide Hills and the Clare Valley. There will be a group leader and a tail-end-charlie for each group.
Full directions and instructions are published in the NatMeet Run book also to be found in your registration pack. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with your group’s program and run destinations and also your group leader.
Don’t forget that there will be photo competition titled “Me and My Car” and all attendees are encouraged to bring along their favourite snap to be posted on a board. Everyone will have the chance to vote for the winning entrant and points and prizes are up for grabs.
f you have a two way radio, please bring it along as each group will be allocated a separate radio channel. Please refer to your run book for your channel number. Don’t forget to pack the charger too.
Free Wi-Fi is available at the Novotel to loyalty members of Accor Hotels. Membership with Accor Hotels is free and you can become a member upon arrival at the resort. However, it would be more convenient to register on-line for this service before arriving.
As you know the Barossa Valley is all about German heritage and accordingly we are hosting an evening of German entertainment on the Wednesday at the Vine Inn at Nuriootpa. Competition points will be awarded for best dressed male and female based on the German costume theme.
