Here’s a Guide to Understanding Our Membership Categories & Fees
This document explains the available categories under which a new member may join the Club.
This is a summary of membership details from our Constitution which should be consulted for full particulars.
- The majority of our members are entitled to a Full Membership
(Where members have full rights to vote at meetings and to be elected to the Committee.)
The two categories of Full Membership are our Individual and Joint Memberships. - We also have 2 categories of Restricted Membership
(Where members do not have voting rights and cannot be elected to the Committee.
The two categories of Restricted Membership are our Junior and Associate Memberships. - Full Members may invite a non-member to join them as a guest for a maximum of 3 events in a membership year.
- Membership Period is normally 12 months from 1st July but new members can join at any time.
- Members requiring Club (Historic) Registration
A 3-year membership is mandatory for all members wishing to use the Club (Historic) Registration scheme. The 3-year membership substantially simplifies the administrative process for both the member and the Club as it matches the duration of the logbook. - Other Members
Other Full Members may optionally choose to join for a 3-year period. - Motorsport Members
Motorsport members will benefit from a 3-year membership as Membership Cards required for Motorsport events will not require annual renewal.
- Members requiring Club (Historic) Registration
- Membership and Joining Fees are non-refundable
Fees for new members are made up of 2 components:
- Joining Fee: (This is a once only fee, that covers the initial membership badge(s), card(s), car sticker and administrative costs.)
- Membership Fee: (renewed either annually or 3 yearly on 1st July)
(For new members only, this fee is adjusted quarterly: see the tables on the membership form)
